Lennox Head Architects, PRG, are a small architectural practice located at Skennars Head near Lennox Head in the Ballina Shire. Providing personalized service, we specialise in new homes and home additions, however we also design and document multi unit developments, duplex residential units, commercial alterations and additions and other projects.
Ballina Architect, Paul Gray is originally from the local town of Alstonville. Paul studied architecture for 5 years obtaining a Bachelor of Design Studies in 1986, and Bachelor of Architecture in 1991, both from the University of Queensland in Brisbane. From 1987 to 1990, Paul gained experience in various architectural practices in Queensland, New South Wales and The Northern Territory. Paul was employed as a graduate Architect from 1991 until 2004 at Architectural Offices in Byron Bay. Paul registered as a chartered Architect with the Board of Architects of New South Wales in 1994. While employed at Byron, Paul gained experience on numerous projects including, residential additions, new homes, duplexes, B& B’s, residential Unit developments, Resitech unit projects, commercial & industrial buildings, shopping centres & arcades, bowling and RSL club renovation & addition work, nursing homes and other projects throughout the northern rivers area. Tasks involved design and documentation work, co-ordinating drafting staff and consultants.

Paul established a home based practice in 1997, to provide a more personalised service to clients, specialising in home renovations & additions, new private residences, dual occupancies & duplexes and small commercial projects. Recent projects have included larger residential developments, and award winning medical centres and commercial buildings. The Lennox Head commercial/residential “Ninety-ninety two” project won a high commendation in the 2007 Urban Design Awards, and The Family Medical Centre in Ballina won the 2008 Master Builders Awards for best Medical Centre under $1m. Alterations in Bayview Drive East Ballina and a new residence in Gibbon Street in Lennox Head have also been awarded.
The practice has evolved on “word of mouth” referrals from clients and builders, and repeat business from satisfied clients.
